Role: Senior Project Engineer (Civil Projects)
Tenure: 3 months with potential for extension/ permanency.
Hourly rate: $75.00 - $90.00 + superannuation

Deliver essential infrastructure for a Council in Victoria. In this role, you will drive the lifecycle of diverse capital works—including road, bridge, and drainage upgrades—from the drawing board to completion.

The Role

• Project Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of the Capital Works Program, ensuring high-quality results within budget.

• Technical Leadership: Evaluate design documents, manage tender processes, and supervise site works.

• Team Mentorship: Provide guidance to technical staff and oversee the work of junior engineers and contractors.

• Community Impact: Liaise with residents and authorities to resolve technical hurdles and keep projects moving forward

What You Bring

• Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering (Australian recognized).

• Expertise: Substantial experience in managing civil construction contracts and overseeing site activities.

• Leadership: The ability to coordinate a small team and manage external consultants effectively.
